BACKGROUND: Born + raised in Seattle, WA. My parents are Japanese fine dining restaurateurs, so I grew up in the Seattle food scene. Quickly, I became fascinated by the power restaurants to create warm + magnetic experiences for customers alike.

SCHOOL: Presently, I am a junior at Stanford University pursuing an engineering degree in Design (B.S.). The d.school was founded by IDEO founder David Kelley. Therefore, our curriculum is deeply anchored in the design thinking process.

FREE TIME: In my free time, I love soaking up the vibrant Bay Area food scene (Butter & Crumble + Statebird Provisions are a must), my best friend and I are training daily to complete our first half marathon in November, +
